* Cranial fossa and Formana

  There are 13 cranial fossa and formania at the skull. All of these there is/are some nerves, vein or artery that exit or enter except Foramen lacerum.
Much the following structures where they exit or enter?

1- CNI
2- CN III
3- CN IV
4- CN V-1
5- CN Vl
6- CN II
4- Infraorbital vein, artery, and nerve
6- Carotid canal: Internal carotid artery
7- CN V-1
8- CN V3, lesser petrosal nerve
9- Middle meningeal artery
10- CN VII, CN VIII
11- CN IX, CN X, CN Xl,
12- CN Xll
13- Medulla oblongata, CN Xl, vertebral arteries

  Anterior cranial fossa
1- Cribiform plate: CNI
Middle cranial fossa:
2- Superior orbital fissure: CN III, CN IV, CN V-1, CN Vl
3- Optic canal: CN II
4- Inferior orbital fissure: Infraorbital vein, artery, and nerve
5- Carotid canal: Internal carotid artery
6- Foramen rotundurm: CN V-1
7- Foramen ovale: CN V3, lesser petrosal nerve
8- Foramen spinosum: Middle meningeal artery
9- Foramen lacerum: None
Posterior cranial fossa:
10- Internal acoustic meatus: CN VII, CN VIII
11- Jugular foramen: CN IX, CN X, CN XI,
12- Hypoglossal canal: CN Xll
13- Foramen magnum: Medulla oblongata, CN XI, vertebral arteries

so do you agree that Foramen lacerum indeed hosts something & is not empty!!!!!!!!!!!

"The superior pharyngeal artery may give rise to a carotid branch that runs along the internal carotid artery in the foramen lacerum and may anastomose with the inferolateral trunk".

I just wanted to clarify , u know being a brain surgeon we should know all the little details, right!!!

Don't bother it is not going to be tested.
