  hordeolum- stye, on the lid margin
abscess
painful
cool compresses, antibiotics
chalazion- just beneath the lid margin
painless
granulomatous lesion
recurrent chalazion- biopsy
blepharitis- inflammation of the lid margin

please correct me if wrong

Here is my findings:

CHALAZION: Painless, non-infectious inflammation of Meibomian gland (oil-producing gland) in upper and lower eyelids.

HORDEOLUM: Painful, infectious, purulent infectious inflammation of eyelids which is caused by Staphylococcus. External hordeolum is called STYE.

BLEPHARITIS: Inflammation of the eyelids, particularly at the lid margins. Anterior blepharitis affects the outside front of the eyelid (caused by bacteria such as Staphylococcus). Posterior blepharitis affects the inner eyelid and is caused by problems with the oil (meibomian) glands in the eyelid.
