mostly depends upon your luck.In my experience its first come first serve basis.I think all the doctors are IMG in post match scramble.There are examples when 70ies score got the residency and 80 ies score were left behind.Basically a game of luck.I like your this name,graceofGod. |

IMG=doctors like you & me,who came from other country.
FMG=when US student goes to other country for his medical graduation.US citizens send their children outside the US when they don`t get admission to med schools here.
so,FMGs have better luck with scramble than IMGs. |

the reality is AMG( AMERIKAN GRADS) fill UP MOST POSITIONS. at least 80% . the rest are filled with contacts..........If u have the LUCK of ur life u will match through the scramble, but possible because i know a guy who got into Thomas jefferson, PA for IM through the scramble.....can u believe it! but i think if u have that much LUCK u will MATCH and wont need the scramble...........CHEERS! |
