Doctors,
I'm a medical student and I've 2 more yrs of Med
School. I'm thinking of doing some rotations in my 6th
year 'cause that's the only year that american schools
let you come as a visitor, as you already know.
I'm having problms with the malpractice insurance that
they ask for. My school doesn't provide a malpractice
insurance for me so I'd have to buy it on my own. The
problem is that untill now, all the people I've spoken
to don't know any company that I could buy it from. If
you know any company or have some valuable advice,
please give it to me!!! Thanks a lot.

...nothing works... I've contacted all the companies from anove and nobody prodides malpractice insurance for us... I've called about 50 companies in total from MD and OH and they didn't even heard of such an insurance...
didn't anybody buy it??? if any of you know a person that bought such an insurance please give me a link or a phone number or something... thans you.

@msashraf: I'm puzzled by your message. MOST of the universities ask for us to be insured for malpractice... there are about 6 univs only that provide M. insurance for us but most of them ask for a high tuition fee.. if you know something I don't know please tell us...
anyway.. I ask again the help of those who know.. please tell me, if you know, which company provides malpractice insurance for IMS. thanks |

found one, but only covers AZ, CA, NV and a few others on the west coast and S-W USA
