Okay, I do not post regularly on this forum but having read the stuff posted here over the last few days I thought I'd add my two cents. First of all I think this forum is full of a bunch of Hippocrates. I read the post by iv asking for money to cancel his interviews.....I think his post was one of the funniest ones I read and was meant to be a bit of a joke. But the way people on this forum attacked him calling him a "disgrace to the profession" and even going on to call his mother a donkey ... I think you people who are attacking him with words like that are a bigger disgrace to the profession for using words like that. If you cannot hold yourself from reacting with such harsh words just because you are in a little bit of stress you guys don't deserve to be doctors..... I mean you will be in bigger stress when you have someones life in your hands.......IV might hurt someone because of his poor ethics (and thats considering he was being serious) You guys on the other hand are going to be killing your patients just by being yourselves.
Who made all you guys the moral judge of character to tell someone to stop being a doctor. You guys are okay with getting pirated version of Kaplan Notes and NBME's, but someone even makes a little joke about asking for money to cancel his interviews you all freaking burst an aneurysm.
No one on this freaking forum can answer someone else's question without asking for their credentials.....how is it any of yours business ?? Its surprising to see how you all think its somehow your god given right to come and practice in the US.. Since most of you guys are from India let me tell you one thing about India fellows....the Indian Medical Council does not even recognize any medical school outside of India .... so good luck for trying to practice in India if you go to a med school outside of India.
So before you guys go around telling other people what to do and what not to do ... might want to look at your self and get your own moral bearing straight. |

but seriously, optimistic as we can be, try to look for other options...give GRE and get enrolled in PhD while keeping trying for residency.. |

LOL ... I guess I was in a bit of a hurry to post my "2 cents" but I can take the criticism and yet still stand by all I said ..... yeah I did mean hypocrites !!
As for you sniperdoc ..... if that typo somehow made everything that I said seem like "crap" to you ... well then dude you would not have gotten the message even if I had spelt it right the first time around !! |

I will bring this to higher authorities' notice as to me it is fraud.If he gets me an interview,he can save his ass but if I pay 15 dollars and I donot get the interview,his ass is in big trouble as IN USA ,THIS IS FELONY AND FRAUD,an ethical and professional misconduct.If he gets residency in some program,I will sue that program for hiring this fraud.People on this forum do lots of stuff,some hurtful,some good,some ugly .....but no body tries to rob someone.This man is actually giving away paypal accounts number.I think paypal should know about this too.He is legally in big shit.
AND FOR EVERYONE ELSE.....donot give money or credit card numbers to any one.No one here can get u interviews if he leaves a spot.People on waiting list will be next..NOT YOU.Beware of frauds and those who already have paid to this person,file a complaint to ERAS and ECFMG as soon as u can. |

i can understand the desperation to buy interview seats...but let's face reality, u r giving some 15 bucks to this guy, v little chance of getting an interview..there are too many qualified candidates for the programs to choose from...(they already have a backup list in case someone cancels his iv)
even if u get the interview by the grace of god...do u seriously think that program will consider u for a position ahead of their favourite candidates (which are 10 times the no. of available positions)?
so eventually ur loss will be 300-400$ +15 $ + hope
A candidate giving his ivs to another candidate...ask urself if that is possible, if u think yes...by all means go ahead and donate ur money
now switching dates...that's a good business, i am not sure if that is possible..i dont see anything wrong in it |

If people on this forum cannot tell a joke apart from whats meant to be real well you guys really need to take another look at yourself. You can try to paint yourself as a real law biding person and real citizen cane but here is deal ... we all know what goes on this board ... just look at the classified section and you will see all the illegal Kaplan Notes and NBME questions.
As for the issue of fraud ... well if you think people were actually gonna fall for iv's little ploy ... well all I have to say to you is you need to spend just a few hours in any major hospital in the US and you will come across at least a dozen people who will be trying to "fraud" you into giving them Demerol or some other pain killer......You have been given a brain and 5 senses just to tell whats fraud and whats real.
And you said people have already given 15 dollars to him ... well for one how do you know they have unless you are iv yourself and know that you have received money from people or you are one his supposed buyers and have tried to buy an interview yourself from him in which I guess the cops will be coming to your house when you call them. If you are going by just people having put their names on the post .. well your friend luckydonkey already admited in his earlier post that he was the one leaving fake email address by masquerading as someone else .... you might wanna tell him that misrepresentation is a crime as well since you seem to be defending him quite vehemently !!
