  hey guys

uw case no 32
its basically a mva case
patient alert and oriented

they r doing abd usg

where steps 123 says that dpl is quicker in the software as compared to usg and theefore dpl should be ordered.......

pls clarify

which one is better
???

  i dont have usmlesteps 123 yet but 32 in UW mentions BEDSIDE USG...meaning the ER has to be equipped with a bedside USG unfortunately most ERs still dont have bedside USG and have to opt for DPL.

the CCS software only has ultrasound abdomen option which takes 30 minutes for the report while DPL is done within 10 minutes.
