I tried to ask for guidances about how to prepare for step 3 two months ago but getting booed by people here. Even though I didnt benefit a lot from this forum, I still wanna share my experience to u. Hopefully u wouldnt make the same mistakes as I did and get a much better score than I have.
I got my score report just now. Not a good score and I am very disappointed, but I am glad it's over finally. I would definitely suggest every one to give the exam ASAP bcz this exam is not like step1 or 2. Quite a few answers in the real exam cant be found on any textbooks or journals. It is a test of medical sense. So studying doesnt really make much difference. Clinical experience, by contrast, will play a major role on ur score.
I prepared for one month, making use of the night time(4 hrs a day) and the weekends bcz I m doing fellowship. My only source for MCQ is UW, but I regret doing so as the exam content has very few to do with UW. It's only the format similarity that counts. If u r a good test taker, u ll be fine.
As for CCS, my source is FA only. I didnt do UW for I thought there's too much micro-management inside. Maybe it's my fault not doing so. I finished all cases in 10 minutes nevertheless my CCS score is below average.

I can help you pass the CS, it is obvious that with your command of the English language, you cannot pass the CS--> you do not understand USMLE and step 3.
If he did not pass CS, he could not take step 3.
EVERY STEP 3 TAKERS KNOW THIS, WHY NOT YOU?
Your statement indicated that you are not preparing for step 3. You are just a person who has something wrong with Kaplan and is trying to make them down, or you may be a person working for someone else to advertise their step 3 products.

this is EXACTLY what I am preaching, you didnt pass step 2 cs, obviously you didnt even come close to taking USMLE Step 3. Please dont lie about anything, and mislead people. Everyone and anyone that has passed step 3, knows that USMLE World is the best Qbank and by far, and that Kaplan is garbage. Is it enough to pass, probably not, one should have more knowledge, such as NMS, some residency in primary care, and confidence. To say that somebody passed using Kaplan proves that you are a LIAR SO GO AWAY AND STOP POSTING HERE WHERE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO LEARN ABOUT STEP 3 GOOOOOO AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY |

I think you are trying to make Kaplan down.
I do not praise either Kaplan or UW. I just give my idea. I did not blame to any step 3 product as well.
But you always blame Kaplan.
I remember your blame of Conrad Fisher with very bad words for him when people ask about his Ethic material.

Please find time to learn proper English, and improve your reading skills also. Please do not post here again, this is a forum where people are to learn about how to prepare for step 3. I am not advertising anything, and if I was, then I would say READ THIS YOU WILL SCORE HIGH NO MATTER WHAT!!!!! this is what advertisers say about their reading materials that they are selling. Swanson's for geriatrics and some ethics, and sports medicine. Women's health is also good, and any health maintenance, because health maintenance is important on the examination.
AND THIS is what is useful for step 3. DO NOT post again on this worthless thread, if you care at all and whatsoever about the integrity of this forum. Unfortunately people like you are polluting it with nonsense. EITHER POST YOUR CCS CASES OR GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! |
