I tried to ask for guidances about how to prepare for step 3 two months ago but getting booed by people here. Even though I didnt benefit a lot from this forum, I still wanna share my experience to u. Hopefully u wouldnt make the same mistakes as I did and get a much better score than I have.
I got my score report just now. Not a good score and I am very disappointed, but I am glad it's over finally. I would definitely suggest every one to give the exam ASAP bcz this exam is not like step1 or 2. Quite a few answers in the real exam cant be found on any textbooks or journals. It is a test of medical sense. So studying doesnt really make much difference. Clinical experience, by contrast, will play a major role on ur score.
I prepared for one month, making use of the night time(4 hrs a day) and the weekends bcz I m doing fellowship. My only source for MCQ is UW, but I regret doing so as the exam content has very few to do with UW. It's only the format similarity that counts. If u r a good test taker, u ll be fine.
As for CCS, my source is FA only. I didnt do UW for I thought there's too much micro-management inside. Maybe it's my fault not doing so. I finished all cases in 10 minutes nevertheless my CCS score is below average.

I just hate these spammers. No he said that not only 99 on each step, but more than 250, and he is so incredibly disappointed with a 91 on step 3. What a LIAR, and then to claim that with information attained from Kaplan notes, one can achieve more than 90. With incorrect and insufficient knowledge of each and every subject? LIAR |

yes premier review is the best, but dont ask usmd, he has nothing at all to do with USMLE or anything, just a pest.
He has nothing to do with USMLEs, a Kaplan agent.
Premier Review is definitely worth the time and money, there are far more people that sign up for Premier than Kaplan for step 3. |

From what I can see, all of you are giving us false information. I don't know what you guys want to gain from this. All of my friends that have passed step3 used UW, crush, and kaplan. One of them used Kaplan for step 3 and failed once(said not detailed enough), while another used the same book and passed. There is one thing they all agreed on which is UW and Kaplan ck notes.
all there scores were between 81-84. The one that failed later got 81.
Please, only post what is true here. I have my exam in 2weeks time. I don't want to be misled.

The situation is not whether premier review is good or not good.. The problem is your behavior genesismd .... Please do not enter this forum insulting people and start acting your age and yes with that obnoxious behavior that you frequently and constantly display genesismd you are more than likely to scare customers away from the Premier Review Preparation course you are offering us... |

Its good that you guys can be out in the open, and see how desperate you truly are vertigo. Is that your dysequilibrium again, did you take your scopalamine patches today. Customers lol...... you need to buy something with your mentality, Psych consult and Haldol would be a great start for you reject. |

you see forum there is no cure for the beast called genesismd.. he uses bad words and has no thought process in him.. he considers himself a doctor where in reality all he does is trie to con people in buying his audio files from premier review.. as far what course to take.. it is up to the person... I am not going to be like the maniac genesismd convincing what is right for you.. I feel that as long you do questions from usmle world read the material and be around positive people not listen to negative and bragging people like genesismd who come to this forum to spread there superiority over others (which I consider insecurity in themselves) you should be able to do good on your exam |
