hi folks,
It finally happened; i got 99! Was worried before the results were out. No more worries now. i will share a little bit of my experience that may be helpful.
Studied for 5 months, full time
with 3 breaks of 1 week each in between
Materials:
Kaplan notes 3 times
Goljan notes 2 times
Goljan audio once
USMLE world once (around 65 - 75%)
kaplan subjectwise questions: around 70%
Kaplan simulation: 74% (3 weeks back)
ECFMG sample questions: 42, 40 & 38 %
Stay cool and calm. It's doable. You have to be focussed; u dun have to study anything else for score like this.

i was just wondering didn't u use anything else other than kaplan for anything like for neuroanatomy?
n could u plz share what was your source of X-rays,MRI, CT n histo slides?

Hi Dr. Vikram, Congratulations for scoring such a high score and for getting through this ordeal successfully.
I am taking my exam on may 28th.
I have a few questions to ask you if you could take some time out to answer these.
I havent done goljan, just seen very few topics from it. But I have done kaplan nicely.
Then other subjects I have done from kaplan only.
In UW I am getting like 62-80%. Finishing it in 3 days. My cummulative is running through like 66% but lately I getting like 72- 76, mostly.
Did NBME 1 like a month ago, got 158/200 and did NBME 2 on 30th of april(1 month b'fore the exam date) it was 170/200. Will do others online now in a few days.
So what you say about knowing all this. Also I would like to hear about any expert advice you would like to give at this end time of my preperation.
