I got a rejection from UTMB, Galveston, Paediatric programme.
I am still waiting to know the reason for refusal. Probably year since graduation( 3years) |

They didn't mention any reason. I emailed them about that. Yet to hear from them.
Probably year since graduation. They have a cut off of 3 years( Mine 8years). But I am yet to hear from them. |

pranav: I think based on this, and the auto-reply message the guy a few threads down got via email, that we must start getting used to the Automacity of this whole thing. And not let it get us down. All the best! |

scothchtapetest: I am very optimistic about my chance of getting a residency. But I am surprised to see that, many programmes already downloaded and few of them strated screening for right candiadate based on their criteria. I didn't expect a refusal within few hours of application.
Anyhow, thanks for your wishes. I will stay positive. Good luck to you. |

this is true and very interesting.
Perhaps its an automatic algorithm of the Program criteria that runs, or someone poked at your application proper.
Either way its good to hear you have the positive approach to it all. |

Pranav: Sorry to hear about your rejection. I applied to Peds programs too.
Did you receive the news via email or myERAS? Silver lining...at least they were quick to review/reply and did not leave applicant's wondering about the application. |
