I just noted a HUGE cultural difference.
Why do people ask for other people's credentials? It seems so strange to me. Like even if i want to know, it doesnt occur to me to ask.
Its almost like asking someone up front "what do you get paid?"
Oh well, i guess you live and you learn.
I just find it surprising no matter how many times i read it.
Someone says they got an IV or Rejection or that they applied somewhere, and inevitabely someone asks "what are your credentials"
It just seems really different to me.

I just think its aggressive.
I dont know why I think some things are a bit more private. I am not saying its a national secret or anything, but still.
I guess that's just my view.
But from what I can see from the few responses, I guess I am not the only person that thinks that way.

when someone asks credentials they never think about the aggresivness,, the only thing they were thinking is how much chance they have..
again credits tells u a some info about the background,,,, as whether gc, or img,
sometimes no. of prgmstells u about the financial back ground,,
likewise asking credits is like knowing ourself more deeply and more practicaly(about the chances and the dreams),,
so its not harmfull to know oneself deeply and throughly,,i guess.

actually none of us here have a face, so it's quite impersonal. but if i did have a face, i would not like sharing that much.
also, you just can't predict how you will do based on how other people are doing! we all have to walk along our own individual road. |

yeah we r culturally different,coz we r straight on, however i dont like people who force people to give their creds by saying things like--why r u not replying or saying other rude things |
