  Guys and girls!

Please post what you plan to wear for the pre-interview casual/semi-casual dinner meet with residents.

Would be fun, plus some of us will get tips!
Cheers.

Thanks everyone for the input, thansk dazzler77 (is taht ur nick, i forgot, and i cant hit the back button on the broswer without losin the msg i hv just typed out, srry!) and thanks 'providence' for the big helpful list.
But I think what to wear for the formal day interview is common knowledge. What I was really interested in knowing was the less commonly known/discussed dressing for the pre-interview evening dinner with only residents! Is it advisable to go overdressed than under? Like a tie shirt and formal trousers, and maybe a coat? or a sports jacket with denims and a tee or smart shirt? or completely casual is cool too? or what have you....
More inputs welcome! And thanks to all who contributed

you can get good quality leather porfolios at office depot. i got miine there. for the pre-interview dinner, i plan to wear a skirt, blouse and sweater. My invite said it is a casual dinner but i do not want to go too casual and look like a fool.

  Hello,

I think wearing something formal rather semi formal attire would be better idea, team it with some nice watch and men`s dress shoes, and you are ready to face your interview, best of luchk buddy.

I believe that a good and rich table should have beautiful clothes and gorgeous gems. But as a person who knows a bit about them, I can say that it is best to pay attention not only to beauty, but also to gemologist certification (https://gemscience.net/). Sometimes this is even more important than anything else. Read more about it.
