I am now on this status and off course with no need for visa. so guys any others with this status. I am thinking why not to write permenant resident as we eligible for gc after 1 year. |

Hi,
No, you just write asylum status. No need to write permanent resident if you are not. They will know! It is okay to be in an asylum status. Do not worry they will not judge you according to this.
