	Hey guys I am finally done with step 3 on my 2nd attempt. Thanks to God almighty and thanks to all of you here. I prepared for almost 2 months intensive...... my resources were kap ck notes esp medicine..just breezed through the rest. MTB- a very nice book in the sense it gives you a lot of confidence prior to the exam. U world-scored 60 pc Kap qbank did 60 pc and scored 65 pc. Kap q book-65pc. Uwsa 10 days prior to the actual test was 490/215. CCS uworld. actual score 81/199. what i have to tell you here is that just concentrate on a few books and be thorough on what you have already read...no point in reading newer and newer stuff..stick to the concepts but doing new questions does help. I was a bit unlucky on the test day in the sense I had a lot of cases in CCS which were almost new....(do not want to mention them here) So i would say please go through another ccs source too and dont rely solely on U world.I do have to admit though that if you are real kool with U world ccs, you will be safe, even if a new case does spike up. But I am glad i am done with this. I was unlucky with 74 on the first try. Let me tell you guys ..this is a tough exam..and it needs a lot of prep....luck plays a very imp factor 2(obviously the cases you get on CCS determines your fate-you get a major chunk from U world means you know how the case should progress and what is expected at what time interval...but when its a new case ..however much you might know as in diagnosis etc..you sure wouldnt know as to whether the sequence in which you are ordering is exact) not an exam to be taken while you are engaged(this is for IMGs) with Observerships/research. so guys jus dont play down your confidence..prepare well and give it your best shot...
