Hi, has any body tried NBME mastery psychiatry form 2? I did it today and it was very hard. 19 wrong answers. The choices are very similar to each other. Even I can not find answers using different books (MTB, FA, Kaplan) and websites !!! |

yes, I did too, in my opinion they were difficult, some qs look like from board of psychiatry, fortunately my scores were good. form 1... 96 with 6 wrongs and form 2...90 with 8 wrong ans. Interesting is that I did Neurology form 1 too, with 9 wrong ans I got 80!!! |

1. I picked CO posioning first but changed it to ketoacidosis which is wrong. Now I think CO poison is rt ans bcoz of some paint strippers contain it and lead poisoning can not be that much acute.
2. I got it wrong too, I chose mannitol but i guess you are rt. |

Yes kishi, it is different from regular NBME. It has 12 forms (each 50 Qs) and each form costs 20 $, total 240 $. Subjects are medicine, pediatrics, surgery, psychiatry, etc. I think they are retired questions of real exams about 7-8 yeas ago. |
