  Can anyone please help clear this up?

One says rash starts from face and moves own other says rash starts from trunk goes up?

MTB 2 says : Multiple highly pruritic vesicular rash that begins on the face;

Step 1 FA said : Varicella-Zoster virus Chickenpox Vesicular rash begins on trunk; spreads to face
and extremities with lesions of different stages

  I'll go with trunk to face/extremity for VZV chickenpox.

  “Neonatal” varicella is variable clinical pic can be painted a mild illness resembling chickenpox in older children u see in 2-8 y/o to a disseminated infection like what u see immunocomp cases. In general begins on trunk/ centripetal nd wk later –> Face - extremities. But u can have stem tell you vesicles/teardrop in face & trunk -> extremities. They need to give u more than that. If you referring to CVS then pay attn to triad more on Zig/Zag lesion.
