  A 26 y/o M has had episodes of abdominal pain with low volume diarrhea for the past 25 months. He now has persistent pain in the rectal area, particularly with defecation. On PE the perirectal region shows erythema of the skin along with a deep fissure. There are no palpable masses on DRE. Stool culture/ (-) for pathogens. Pat been given loperamide to control his diarrhea by a family member. Direct activation with of following Rs most likely mediate the therapeutic effect of the loperamide in pat?

b) Nn cholinergic

d) Mu

f) 5-HT3
