  From my understanding, squatting increases VR by squeezing the venous vasculature, but it also increases afterload by squeezing the peripheral arterial vasculature as well (like how children do during hypoxic spells in TOF).

So if you increase VR, and more importantly, increase afterload, there should be less blood going through the aorta and more through the VSD from Left to Right...

The Kaplan CK IM book says No Change, in the cardio chapter page 136.
