I interviewed here 2 weeks ago. Its a pretty good hospital, with an interesting dual opposed and unopposed training program for FM. I'm from Chicago, and the hospitals located on the west side which can be a little sketchy, but its very close to downtown where you can experience city living. When I was there they said they would make prematch offers after they interview a few more candidates, and to be on the lookout for end of November/middle of December.

Not sure. I havent received an offer yet but I'd have to think about it if they do because I have enough interviews from other programs I'd also like to check out.

Yes I'm from Chicago. And I wouldn't consider it low tier. Sure it's not in the greatest of areas but it's generally safe and the program itself when I went there looked good from as far as I could tell. The Sinai health system is also pretty well known throughout Illinois, just a matter of whether you like the place enougj that you want to be there for 3 years or not.

Thank you for your reply @sifodyas357. Really glad to have a real opinion from the chicagoan himself. Yeah the hospital and the program itself is pretty old, and i heard their patients are pretty complicated since almost 100% are underserved. :)

I just interviewed there several days ago. I would say this is a low tier program and a malignant program. High fellowship chance but for low tier specialty such as nephrology.
