*  step 1 first aid for step 3 exam?

  is it necessary to go over step 1 first aid for step 3 exam if its been 4 years since i gave step 1 exam and i dont recall much about step 1 materials?
or mtb 3 with uworld is enough?

  i took step 1 even longer than that, so I am definitely doing a review of step 1 material.

  mtb 3 has step 1 mechanism pointers in the book so it's on the exam

  Don't waste your time on step 1 material. I took my exam in December and I'm so glad I didn't go back to my step 1notes. As long as your step 2ck is fresh though

  Let me be more specific: I know people say they ask for mechanisms of action-yes. But not in the step 1 mind of way. You could have a scenario where you know the answer is e.g tamoxifen. But rather than ask a direct question ,they ask for the mechanism. That's it. So I wouldn't advise to spend long hrs going through step 1. Rather,use that time to master your ethics! Those r way more important. You'll have them on both day

  i mean what specifically i have to revise in step 1? , ethics, biostatistics and pharmacology? is there anything else i need to revise in step 1 for step 3 exam??
