* How should we prepare for the scramble?

  Dear Friends
Can anyone tell me what I should do to prepare for scramble - does it start from tomorrow?
In the "olden times" we used to sit with Fax machines and a couple of telephones to be ready to scramble and apply.
Please tell me about the new system

  New system:

They send a list of programs and the number of slots. You find the programs you think you have a shot in and apply through ERAS electronically (the same way you did when you applied last year). Make sure to view the timeline of when they start sending out invites to interview. You sit by the phone and wait. ...wait...and then Scramble is over and no one matched.

The old system, IMGs had the power to call and delegate an interview. New system, the program directors have the power. They sit and patiently go through the AMG applicants they prefer. Applicants cant reach out but sit and pray.
