* IMG with all red flags, what should i do?

For starters, I'm here for advices and info as last bit of hope for this match path so please don't tell me to consider working for Starbucks yet...I'm desperate in need of help...

My YOG is 6, did a PhD in the US, Step1 226, Step2 216, CS 2nd attempt, Step3 not yet. Publication 2, connection barely any, visa now student F1 and about to have a one-year OPT working visa 2020-2021.
I'm about to graduate soon and I didn't get matched in the past round. Any similar yet successful cases at all that what I should do next, my dear friends??

Thank you very much guys...

You still have decent chance, I was in a much worse condition but persisted and matched in IM in university program. There are few things that can help.

You need to work on Step 3. Clearing Step 3 is mandatory these days for visa requiring residency applicants.

@rometo2019 Hi, it's usually a 5-6year program. Any University could have them.

  Hi @faldristy,
The good news is that IM and FM are typically some of the most IMG friendly specialties in the US. I would suggest seeking US clinical experience (if you haven't already done so) and networking with the PDs and faculty during that experience. A lot of programs require some amount of time spent on USCE. This will help pull some weight if you end up applying to the program you rotated at. In addition, many programs have a minimum or average USMLE scores of around 220. While your scores are just on the cusp, you're going to need a little extra in your CV, which clinical experience might be able to help, especially if you can get great LORs from those experiences. Lastly, I would advise looking at IMG friendly residency programs to apply to around match time.

I hope this helps and wishing you the best!

You will be having chances matching try to complete Step 3 exam and gain multiple hands-on rotations that will strengthen the application for matching, also try to gain connections it will help.
