* At what point do you give up applying

  Hi guys,

The match is very stressful. It takes you through a number of emotions, and if you do not match it is even more so. If you did not match at some point you start to think should i give up. If you dont think that others might start pointing that out to you.

Below are my thoughts on this:

Do not give up applying even If you choose to apply to just 10 prorgams. However, start working on your plan B whatever it may be.

Well I've got my RN license (was plan b) working now, still thinking that I could've done better and match. I'm ECFMG certified 2012, CK third attempt, all other ones first attempt, Including 3rd step, yog 2004. Gave up after trying 2 years in a row....your post made me question my decision. Now working in psych as RN, thinking to apply for psych, any idea if my RN experience will help at all ? Thank you.
