out of 80 programs i applied only 8 gave acknowledgement. is there somthing wrong wth my appllication.

Call and ask.
Many probably did not even review your application, others did not borther to let you know of a rejection. You may never know what is wrong until you start investigating what is wrong. Dr. Belibi

What I am understanding from last year math that a lot of programs dont bother to answer to the application, they neither invite applicants for interview nor rejections If you get interview, that is good, but if you dont hear from them, does not mean they dont reject the application. They just dont send the rejection.
A lot of programs (more than 2/3 of them) that I applied last year, dont send rejection event I was not invited for interview until the end of the match. I know it is annoying to have some hope for nothing. |
