Hi Technodoctor

I have come across this article regarding osteoPOrosis in Von Gierke's. Is it a rare complication?

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3867867

Is osteoPETrosis the usual complication, or does it depend on the type of glycogen storage

disorder? Would you kindly explain the difference. How does osteoPETrosis or osteoPOrosis

take place in glycogen storage disease?

Thank you.

sorry for not clearing up the question...

i asked 2 different questions

your answers are right.... Von Gierke disease is associated with erlenmeyer flask deformity and osteoPOrosis.....

but i asked what "other" disease can present with flask deformity...so its osteoPETrosis...
