Can you pls. help me how to rank 2 programs I interviewed:

Prog A: My first preference, but is a highly rated, high competitive University program, IV went well.

Prog B: My second preference, community hospital, IV went very well

Shall I rank B as my #1 so I have a better chance of any match? (beacuse B may rank my high on their list)

You should rank in order of YOUR preference. Your chances of matching with B won't be affected if you do not match with A.

According to the nrmp, your ranking doesnt affect your total chance but it affect where you will match. What affect your chance is how high the PDs rank you. The advice of nrmp is to rank the preference programs on top. If you didnt match to the first then nrmp will take to the second and so on down to the bottom of the list.
