Any insight into how programs screen applications to send an IV invite?
Most of the places would make a score from the application, CV, LORs, PS, USMLE scores, Grad year, Med School reputation, perceived interest in that specialty etc etc.
But any idea how that exactly works?
It's variable from program to program. But if any of the current residents or past residents elaborate, that will be great.
Similarly many places will score the interview performance and points earned will be discussed by residency review committee.
How does that work?
The reason why I am asking is so that we can try to improve IV performance by keeping it in mind.
