when we are trying to explaine an acute abdomen for pt we have to say this need a emergent surgery

Listen you NEVER EVER TELL THE PT THIS IS IN EMERGENT SURGERY , even if she/he ask you THAT, OK..

You know Mrs..Tacher..I will be MORE then glad do asnwer your question(s) , but before I do that let me be trill with my examenation/evaluation , as well let me run some blood test an dsome imaging study and afther words I will sit down and go over the details with you .Is that OK with you or IS THAT SOUND GOOD ??????????

just to add on...................we might say like:
we need to keep you in hospital under close observation untill the results of ur investigations r with us .i can say any thing for sure only after looking into ur test results only.till then we have a very good team to help u with ur pain( or what ever problem he has).is that ok with u?
