I heard that we have to pick 5 most appropriate DD that suit the case, what is beyond line #5 will not add points or be scored.
see , as such if u think with the history given by the pt. n ur physical u hardly fine more than 5 DD .....n it will be scanned watever u have wrote in PN if its within margin of the paper outside of it will not be scanned so not to worry .
My opinion:
Give no more than 5 DDx. Like chitsu said, the paper will be scanned and anything not falling within the margin of the solid lines outlining the papaer won't be seen.
In my exam, I always had difficulty to find >4. In 1 case I only wrote 3 DDs and in 3 cases I couldn't find more than 4 DDs. During the interview, SPs give you a lot of info which helps you rule-out/in different diseases. In other words, you will have to ask some questions which help you refine your DDs.
