1. iv steroid 2. IV Ig + plasma exchange 3. plasma exchange

Which one to choose for M. Gravies acute crisis?

which one to choose for M.Sclerosis acute acrisis?

can not believe it that the concept were tested for three times in one single exam....better know it very welll
For MG iv Ig + plasma exchange
For MS iv steroids
ys i agree.
for MS crisis , Good Pasture ...PLASMARESIS , PLASMARESIS...+IV Steroids or any crisis like that
Imagine Gilian -Berry -berry-BG like PLASAMARESIS (from Dr.Fisher )
jovana, for MS crisis, IV steroid is the choice, not plasmaresis... pl remember that
MS w/ ACute Excacerbation -> High Dose IV Steroids (DOC), if unresp -> Plasmapharesis

MG Crisis -> Remove any factors that is contributing, Intubate, Plasmapharesis/IgG

Just to inquire, somewhere in Kaplan and UW it does talk about oral anticholonesterases as the Initial Drugs of Choice for Acute Sx's in MG Pts, before going on to Plasmaph/IgG

Any Comments on this???
