3.frontal
4.occipital
5.limbic lobes
frontal lobe?
well
wernikes area is perito temporal lobe but more in temporal
so 111111111
temporal lobe
hi ps72,
no,give another try,frontal==>personality,concrete thinking n plans
yes rt again target,(now im sure u ahve biasd ur scores(bad)
its temporal.
plz clarify lesions in area 22 of temporal lobe result in nonfluent receptive aphasia
but conduction aphasia lesion in the superior longitudinal fasiculus results in fluent verbal output (from kaplan)
ps72
lesion in wernikes area i.e AREA 22,39,40 leads to a condition in whihc person cant understand word
he can speak clearly and fluently

"in india we say IF A TAMILIAN HAS WERNIKE APHASIA U CANT FIGURE OUT IF HE HAS A PROBLEM UNLESS U KNOW TAMIL
ps72,thanks for question,
wernick's aphasia(area 22) lies in posterior part of superior temporal gyrus (MOST COMMONLY)and extends onto upper lobe of temporal lobe=>due to infarction of posterior temporal artery,a.k.a posterior, sensory(fluent) or receptive aphasia.
Conduction aphasia is also fluent but place of lesion is arcute fasiculus or insular region.
and more over,in conduction aphasia-speech is not normally paced as in wernick's and both are fluent
thanku for the clarification
