summarize when to give tetanus toxoid, tetanus IG, when to give both, when to give none...in terms of clean and dirty wounds..........

how i concluded is this;
clean wound never need tetanus IGg,for clean wouds that have less than 3 doses for immunization give tetanus toxoid
clean wound +3 doses of tetanus shots and last dose was more than 10 yrs; give TT
dirty wounds and less than 3 doses of immunization TT yes TIG yes
dirty wounds and had 3 doses of TT than TIG no but TT if last dose was more than 5 yrs b/c wound is dirty.

TIG only given in one situation....dirty looking wound and < 3 doses of TT in the past
TT given every time except in clean wounds when pt has more than >doses in the past and last dose was< 10 years and in dirty wounds ,dirty wounds but lase dose was < 5 years

correct me if wrong

i should have also added uknown immunization status to my initial Q....

what now....unknown???

how do you define a dirty wound? clues/hints in the Q??? what kind???
