A 35 year-old woman consults an ophthalmologist because of double vision and droopy eyelids. She also has complanits of generalized muscle weakness. IV injection of edorphonium dramatically, but only briefly, reverse her symptoms. This patient's most probable disease has a pathophysiologic basis that is closest to that of which of the following conditions?

A. Bullous pemphigoid
B. Diabetes mellitus type 1 (some cases)
C. Idiopathic Addison Disease
D. Insulin resistance
E. SLE
is it D...? type II hypersensitivity reaction.
You are right. What is similar is the auto antibodies binds to receptors in both cases. MG: anti Ach receptor. DM type II: anti insulin receptor
Why not A

It is also Type 11 HR
If there is no D, then A is right. But Bullous pemphigoid is more similar to Good pasture's Disease, both have antoantibodies against basement membrane. Here MG and DM II both have Ab against receptors, I guess. Right?
yep. Thanx.
