hi.............i m new to the forum,an IMG,i passed my step1 2nd attemp with score of 80 and step 2 1st attempt with 86,i m currently doing my internal medicine residency in my country but want to give my CS exam this year!i m really confused as what to do,i m well aware of the residency situation in US and the tough competition esp for IMGs but still want to go for CS and try my luck after that..........is it worth a try.additionally i have a letter of recommendation from st Thpmas hospital KCL UK,where i did one of my internships and i also have a paper published as a first author in a local indexed journal.
