im unable to post on ur previous post- but what i wrote is right - i read it recently -i think in kaplan lecture notes or q bank -but im sure abt i wrote.
another cq......patient has many comorbidies..terminally ill..admitted..wife says do not resuscitate...she has no paper with her of his husband's wish...should we resuscitate or patient goes into DNR status just by believing his wife's verbal statements....
@ drona99...restart your computer...should be ok..
two points here -always think abt pts best interest

1=terminally ill and no hope -relatives say his wish was ''dont want to live with tubes in '' then dont resuscitate

2=if pt is brain dead and still relatives wants to do everything possible then --dont resuscitate and remove life support.
