In ROL,
If i have applied to categorical It will fall under That ..
What is advanced for?
And, i believe primary is for Primary care?
Advanced are programs that start at PGY2 year. Specialities like ophthalmology, radiology, anesthesia can begin at the PGY2 year, and require a PGY1 year called a prelim year.

IM can be categorical (PGY1-3), prelim (PGY 1 only) or rarely, you may see advanced positions (PGY2 or PGY3). Usually that happens when someone leaves the program early.
