A 56-year-old smoker with recurrent hemoptysis presents to your office complaining of headaches. Physical examination reveals facial swelling, conjunctival edema and dilated vessels of the neck and upper trunk. Heart sounds are clear. This patient’s condition is most likely caused by ?

@psychmledr...y not c??sup sulcus syndrome will also cause svc as far as i remember.plz do correct me if am wrong.

Superior sulcus tumor will usually also involve the brachial plexus nerves and cervical sympathetic nerves. So your patient will probably also have shoulder pain and Horner's syndrome.

but i was thinking mediastinal mass a very nonspecific term. that could be anywhere but superior sulcus is very specific for svc obstruction causes waiting for the answer
