Hi, I am a final year medical student who is rotating in the U.S. on B1/B2 visa. I have spent ten months in total in my last year (with one re-entry) to do my elective clerkship in the US. I am going to apply for residency this Fall and going back to US for interview (I will need new B1/B2 visia). I have heard that one typically should not spend more than 6 months in any given year in the US on B1/B2 visa. Will I have problem applying for my visa? Any advice??
