A 17 y/o M brought to the ER by only member of his family a 15 y/o brother with fever, headache, stiff neck, and photophobia. He has a petechial rash. CSF shows 2,499 neutrophils. Vancomycin & ceftriaxone are started. Sadly brothers lost both parent on airplane crash months back. What should be done next?

a) Test for HIV
b) Wait for results of culture
c) Add ampicillin
d) Enforce respiratory isolation
e) Enforce respiratory isolation and prescribe 5mg Rifampin for 48hrs to close contacts
f) Enforce respiratory isolation and prescribe Ceftriaxone 250mg IM single dose for close contacts
