DIFFERANCE PLEASE
anorexia: mid teenage years, >15%ideal body weight loss, poor sexual adjustment, amenorrhoea, lanugo, vvv resistant to treatment

bullimia: late adolescene/early adult, normal body weight, good sexual adjustment, no amenorr/lanugo, easier to treat.

similarities bw the two: both can have binge and purge /use of laxatives. both can have dental cavities(though for different reasons- anorexia pt will have dental cavity coz of sheer lack of nutrition so lack of bone formation while bullimia pt will have coz of action of acid on teeth during purge) and electrlyte dysfunction.
THANKS ARC
