Please help me figure this out. I keep finding this stated as fact with no explanation as to how is happens. My google skills don't appear to be able to find something that pin points an explanation.
Why and how do increased plasma proteins decrease FF?

Increasing Plasma Proteins...Increase Capillary oncotic pressure...so Decrease GFR...therefore the FF decrease accordingly.

As a matter of interest, it was during a discussion that I first heard the explanation that acestep11 gave. I assumed it would be easy to find it written down somewhere later on, but......
Knowing that I'd heard the explanation before, but had no idea what it was put me in a mild panic. Thank goodness acestep11 came to the rescue.

it was on uworld! i forgot the question id but in the search bar, i put filtration fraction, and in 2 questions explanations it gave that same concept
