Hey everyone ... How many people are getting emails back from the programs they applied to? I applied to over 100 and I only received a few rejections and I hope that is a good thing. @diverticulosis (or anyone else) what would you say the % of programs that reply back with rejections. I read on another forum that is was around 45% ... Thanks!

@divertriculosis If I were you , I would apply to a PGY 1 preliminary year in general surgery,RIGHT NOW ! , about 40 % of spots ended up vacant last year 1300/800. In your personal statement say that you want to do that inter year in surgery because it will increase the chances for you to match in a categorical position in IM GYN or FM or whatever
