kaplan lecture notes is a good source for biostats. you may also consider first aid. if you want to go further use "high yield biostatistics":

when doing ccs, how can you know if your patient is improving and your management is correct or you just messed up with the case. is there away to know

when you manage right, your patient will feel better, his/ her symptoms will improve and you will be notified about that during management. but if the management is incorrect, the patient will start to complain and the symptoms will not improve.
