@usmle.step... do some questions from nbme regarding neuro sec or uw, u will know what exactly they gonna ask u... ofcourz, first hav th basic knowledge by doin kaplan videos than switch to FA. Suppose u know everything related Parkinsonism but they gonna giv u MRI and ask u where its located ? i did a question from nbme5 today..
If u open ur kaplan LKN, more focus on the diagrams!!

@carpediem1, kaplan Neuro actually cover everything but so prolonged..and HY NA is full of good diagrams and figures and some nice explanations...I think if someone has weakness in neuroanatomy should do both if have time, then improve with questions at last..

thank you drforget... great advice... i know nothing abt neuro...will listen to the lectures + LN... in the mean time i will get HY...abt nbme...i thought of doing them after the 1st read...i dnt knw the pattern...i thoughttheycover the entire syllabus... will there be questions for specific sections? like neuro?

@carediem1 welcome to the thread...
@radioshack...how is it going?

@usmlestep..in my opinion , do not worry about NBME now, these are last things as self evaulation after you finish all materials and before exam....

back to neuro, finish 2 chapters, will review them quick then planning for questions...will update later......

@usmle.step: thanks Smile it's a gr8 idea to do an nbme to assess urself & ur weaknesses after 1st read, no there wont be q's in specific sections, they cover the entire syllabus. the earlier u start doing nbme's the better, that way u'll have more time at the end to review...save 6,7,11,12,13 for the end

@radioshack: some of us here haven't done nbme's yet & dont want any exposure to the q's, please dont mention them here, thank u Smile
