Got a templated email in ERAS from ECFMG that programs are going to be picking up on sending out interviews over the next few weeks:

"Dear Doctor, As you know, programs have begun downloading and reviewing applications. Many programs will begin to schedule their interviews within the next few weeks." ...

I'm praying and hopeful that the interviews will begin to pick up for all of us! Good luck everyone!

@duckson, congrats on your numerous IVs! You say your Step 1-3 scores are all below average but you must have an amazing CV then? Can you share more about your background? I have low scores but would like more insight into what PDs want in the candidates they make IV offers to. Thanks in advance...

marso you may want to consider step 3. There's nothing amazing about my cv, no research. I do have a job in psych. I put a lot of thought into my PS and have good letters? idk. It's so hard to pinpoint anything in this process, from apps to interview performance. I'm not going to be able to tell you any one specific thing. My step 1 is 20X and I think getting above the 200 threshold makes things easier so if you're 190 I think getting a step 3 out of the way could alleviate their worries about you passing it as an intern.
