I applied 97 programs and only got 9 responses. what happened to other programs?

h2k, when did you apply? I think some programs start late, others may have put you on a waiting list. I think that's probably what happened to me, while some programs have already sent out both interviews and rejections but I don't hear from them. I checked last years thread and people are still getting calls in mid-November. I hope we don't have to wait that long to get responses.

Churg, I got the same message from Henry Ford on sept 28. I don't think it's a rejection.. maybe just a way to say, "don't need to call us regarding your application"

although i've quitted from the match...
and that i've failed the CS too on oct10 and after tht i got 3 rejections in a row...but still there r sum prog.who wud like to send an int.call to sum1 like me...i wonder how and why?
got a call from danbury hospital connecticut today
want to salute them...were'nt there enuf applicants with CS passed?...that they had to call me!
but i dnt need any interviews now.......i cud'nt pass a crappy exam like CS...how can i gt thru an interview

I think the programs have already reviewed your application earlier and decided to interview you.I donot think they saw the updated results that is why the interview would have been send.Donot worry just study hard for cs.
