This question is for caribbean Grads. I am hoping you guys can be of help to me. I did all my clinical rotations in the US, i.e 2 years of USCE but i did not include it on my CV. No ivs yet, few acknowledgements and 5 rejections. Should i contact programs and inform them? Should i wait until they contact me? Please help!! Thank you.

@misslaa i completely agree...its all a matter of timing, everyone will make it when their suppose to but if you want it bad keep moving forward with it and know it'll happen...cheers and good luck everyone we're only in mid-october

@ Doctordontstop, I went to school in the Caribbean's. I have an attempt in CS and seriously think that is the culprit. But people have matched with attempts, so I just have to keep trying.
Congrats to everyone who got IVs today, and hopefully we all get IVs and match this year.

@ student 1960.

Thanks. I submitted my application. I did not include it at all. I think that is a big problem. Should i send programs an email?

@missla for FM its not the CS attempt or any 1 attempt its the score to get by screen then your PS and LORs, once pass the screens your LORs are very very important to get the IV

@Doc11111 I would next week, send an interest in your Program Email with the fact you have USCE and how long it was.

@cadet13

Yeah the funding cap is the major issue stopping the increase in positions. Unless there is a major calamity, I don't forsee Congress doing anything about it. FMGs (those who need visas) are not in a position politically to affect any change. Those who are citizens and/or AMGs can try and do something, because we have senators and congressmen/women who represent our districts and states.
