Ok, if an internist is HIV positive and is taking appropriate t/t, he need not stop giving services to his patients, nor does he require to declare the disease.

But what abt a surgeon? If a surgeon is HIV positive, and if he is taking t/t, can he treat his patients?

yes he can and even he can perform sugeries

my understanding is that surgeon CANNOT!
need to check on this one.........
