ITP--------------No cause : Ab against platelet.

the main lab. diff . is that LDH increased in TTP and it is normal in ITP

can any one say , wat is the importance of LDH >??

ITP = auto imnune destruction of RBCs by the spleen

TTP= Pentad of Microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, fever, CNS symtoms, renal failure, thrombocytopenia

Intravascular hemolysis will lead to inc. LDH & AST.
