colonoscopy ben is correct. iread reading that for upper gi bleeding inorder to get hematochezia the bleeding has to be significant.the guy is old.so lgi bleeding is more common.and also the ben's reasoning is enough to do a colono

Could it be angiodysplasia which is 2nd most common cause for hematochezia in oldies since diverticulosis is ruled out by sigmoidoscopy. I guess the ans is D.
